Music Box at The Miller, London Bridge.

 

In 2011 Music Box will be regularly performing at The Miller’s Improv Comedy Club in London Bridge alongside other top improv groups as part of the LondonImprov.co.uk and Hoopla season of the best new improv.

 

Where: The Miller, 96 Snowsfields Road, London Bridge, SE1 3SS.

Time: Doors 7:30pm, Show 8pm - 10pm with interval.

Price: £5 on the door.

set in a forest in Siberia, featuring the hit song ‘You Can Choose Your Friends

Lancelot Adams and EastEnd Cabaret. ‘Precious’ The Musical, set in the

gentlemen’s toilets in Mordor, featuring the hit song ‘Don’t Touch Me There’.

 

Tuesday 20th September 2011: The Music Box Cabaret at The Miller with

Jacky Wood, Sanjay Shelat and The RH Experience. ‘Crumble’ the Musical, set

in a giant toy shop, featuring the hit song ‘Wind me up, I’ll be back’.

Tuesday 3rd May 2011: The Miller alongside Fat Kitten vs. The Inflatables. The Musical love story “Choo Choo Bam Bam”, set on The Orient Express on the way to Shanghai in the 1930s and featuring the hit song “Love in the Buffet Car”.

 

Sunday 1st May 2011: The Wildheart Festival in Sussex. The Musical “Jamie Oliver Meets a Camel”, set in The Sahara Desert.

 

Saturday 30th April 2011: The Wildheart Festival in Sussex. The Musical “Cliffhanger”, set in a lighthouse on top of a cliff with dreams of the mainland, featuring the hit song “Don’t Drop”.

 

Wednesday 27th April 2011: The Miller alongside Friendly Fire. The Musical “Vanilla”, set in an ice cream van and featuring the evil Walls empire with the hit song “Give me a 99 with that”.

 

Tuesday 19th April 2011: The Miller alongside Do Not Adjust Your Stage. The Musical “Sauna”, set in a leisure centre in Swindon, featuring the hit song “It’s not trouble when you’re having a bubble.”

 

Tuesday 5th April 2011: The Miller alongside The Faux Pas. The Musical “Deflated”, set on an airship that went from A to B and back again without ever letting the staff off, featuring the hit song “What Goes Up, Must Come Down”.

 

Wednesday 30th March 2011: The Miller alongside Curt Hatred’s Sallamander Projection. “Justice” The Musical set in a Court of Law, including riots on the streets of London, bullying within the police force, and the hit song “Forgive me, your honour”.

 

Tuesday 15th March 2011: The Miller alongside David Shore’s Student Show. The Musical “Squidgy” starting on a bouncy castle in Tooting and rapidly escalating into an international spy thriller featuring the hit song “Pop goes the weasel, pop goes the evil.”

 

Wednesday 2nd March 2011: Music Box and Cabaret Steve at The Miller. The Musical “Teacher Leave those kids alone” at a Steiner School in Bromley.

 

Tuesday 15th February 2011: The Miller alongside Speed Dating Improv. The Musical “Aye Carumba” set in a church yard in Brazil, featuring the hit song “Don’t hesitate”.

 

Wednesday 2nd February 2011: The Miller alongside Fat Kitten’s Party Like It’s 1899 at Hoopla’s Improv Comedy Club. The musical “Aubergine”, set in the ski resort Kitzbuel, featuring the hit song “What goes up, must come down”.

 

Tuesday 18th January 2011: The Miller alongside The Faux Pas at Hoopla’s Improv Comedy Club. The story was set in London’s great underground tube network.

 

Sunday 28th November 2010: The New Diorama Theatre, alongside The Scat Pack’s great show Lights Camera Improvise. A rather moody number about the cutting or arts funding at a Primary School.

 

Tuesday 16th November 2010: The Miller, London Bridge with 8Bit in association with Hoopla Impro.

Schmon: A space based musical featuring a mission to Mars and some randy aliens, featuring the song “Mmm, I’m lovin’ it”.

 

Tuesday 19th October 2010: The Miller, London Bridge, with My Show My Rules in association with Hoopla Impro. Shoestring: A topical musical set in an NHS Hospice with a very rock n’roll Prime Minister.

 

Friday 24th September 2010: Theatre Souk, Theatre Delicatessen. Various mini-musicals including accidental internet dating with a fish monster from an oil platform.

 

Monday 13th September 2010: The Troubadour, Earl’s Court, with Jay Foreman. A sci-fi musical set in a Welsh adult toy factory.

 

Tuesday 27th July 2010: The Troubadour, Earl’s Court Festival, with Jay Foreman and Sarah-Louise Young. Musical set in Toni and Guy’s Hairdressers.

 

Thursday 22nd July 2010: The Old Vic Tunnels, Slap Dash Festival, with The Maydays and The Scat Pack. Ikea based musical.

 

Tuesday 15th June 2010: The Black Horse, Rathbone Place, in association with Hoopla Impro. Set in the Krakow Institute for Chess Studies.

 

Tuesday 20th April 2010: The Black Horse, Rathbone Place, in association with Hoopla Impro. Set on a Pirate Island.
